Hassan Tariq - CEO

Hassan was born into the Leather Industry when his late father founded his first leather factory in the year 1975. His passion for leather was sparked at a young age as he was influenced by the hard work and determination of his family. Hassan later went on to own his own bike shop in the Baltimore area, until he decided to open Daniel Smart manufacturing, a leather goods and bike accessories distribution company based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Having been in the business now for over 20 years, Hassan takes great pride in the products Daniel Smart Manufacturing has to offer, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship that is tested before approved for sale and distribution. He is grateful to and values the tight knit teams of people working for him, knowing that they are they best of the best in the manufacturing industry.

Sheldon Davis - Operations Manager

Sheldon has been a warehouse manager for about 5 years. He enjoys working in warehouse settings. He strives for greatness with anything he does in life. He also enjoys fulfilling the needs of customers and people in general. Sheldon is your typical go to guy because of his great attitude and great problem-solving abilities.

Taylor Owen - Senior Customer Relations Specialist

Taylor came to Daniel Smart following a ten year career in business management. A former inventory and retail store manager of a vertically integrated manufacturing company, she visited stores throughout the DMV area to optimize organization, accuracy, and efficiency - in addition to curating clean and impactful merchandising that increased sales. The last several years, Taylor operated as a General Manager and Baltimore’s District Manager of a Yoga studio company where she hired, trained, and developed teams of people motivated to achieve common goals. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys quad roller skating, organic gardening, knitting garments, and spending time with her husband and family of pets.

Tiffany Gray - VP of Marketing

Tiffany has been working in eCommerce and online marketing for the past 7 years. The skills she picked up working for Disney and within the gaming industry has given her a customer first approach to all sides of business. With a strong attention to detail, she takes pride in the steps she can take to make our company stand out from the rest.

Susan Voice - Senior Account Executive/Product Development

Susan is an avid motorcycle rider, with her finger on the pulse on the biker community. She has been helping gear up riders since 2009, with an understanding of her customer needs wherever they may reside. Her focus is to grow her accounts into successful partnerships over the course of time. Susan has a good handle on emerging products and works with our product development team to bring items to our catalog that customers are asking for. She is passionate about the industry and will go that extra step to ensure her clients receive the best customer service there is around.
